The Sewing Box, a family run business, has been trading since 1996, initially in Highams Park, near Chingford and, since 2004 from Ongar in Essex.

Every customer is unique - we understand that and endeavour to meet those individual needs, respecting that they have a choice. We pride ourselves on selling the right product to the right customer and advise customers according to their expertise.

We have tried and tested most of the products available from the shop and are confident that you will be pleased with your purchases. We regularly meet with our suppliers, not just to keep up to date, but also to discuss and resolve the few problems we encounter.

Although we are new to the web, we look forward to being able to serve, and help, you with your varied craft projects.

Payment for goods can be made by cheque, debit or most major credit cards. Subject to availability, we aim to dispatch all goods within 48 hours of the order being placed; if there are any problems, or we are unable to completely fulfill your order, we will call you before dispatching the goods to check your instructions.

Visitors to the shop are most welcome. We are open from 9:30 until 5:00pm from Monday to Saturday, except Thursdays. If you are unable to visit us, please telephone 01277 366663 - an answerphone service is available for those of you unable to contact us during our usual opening times.
